Not only can babies get adjusted, they usually respond quickly to chiropractic care because they don’t have years of built-up stress and tension on their bodies. Chiropractic care is incredibly safe and effective for infants and young children with a variety of concerns. An adjustment for a baby looks incredibly different than that of an adult, and the pressure it takes to adjust a baby is usually about the same pressure you would use to check the ripeness of a tomato. We recommend that you find a chiropractor who has focused their studies on working with the pediatric population, such as by getting CACCP or DACCP-certified throught the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA).
